Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Mix 1
- to
- minutes
- on
- high heat, 2/3 cup cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrups, vanilla and 3 eggs.
- Set aside.
- Now mix rest of cake
- mix,
- butter
- and
- last egg.
- Mix until it becomes a crumbly
- dough and press into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake
- at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Pour first mix over
- baked
- crust.
- Sprinkle with pecans and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool completely; cut into bars.
