Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

Method

  • Mix 1
  • to
  • minutes
  • on
  • high heat, 2/3 cup cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrups, vanilla and 3 eggs.
  • Set aside.
  • Now mix rest of cake
  • mix,
  • butter
  • and
  • last egg.
  • Mix until it becomes a crumbly
  • dough and press into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake
  • at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Pour first mix over
  • baked
  • crust.
  • Sprinkle with pecans and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Cool completely; cut into bars.
