Ingredients
- 1 package Penne Pasta, 16 Ounce Package
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup Red Wine
- 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste
- 1 teaspoon Oregano Or Italian Seasoning
- 1 can 15.5 Oz Can Butter Beans, Liquid Included
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Shaved Parmesan, Optional For Serving
Method
- Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to the packet directions.
- Meanwhile, place garlic in a saucepan over medium heat with a little olive oil and cook garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- When garlic is cooked to your liking, place wine, tomato paste, seasoning, beans and the bean liquid from the can in the same saucepan with the garlic.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce is starting to thicken.
- When pasta is cooked, drain it and add to the sauce.
- Stir together until everything is hot.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with Parmesan shavings on top
