Ingredients
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/4 c. boiling water
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- rind of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- pinch of salt
Method
- Combine sugar and cornstarch.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Slowly add boiling water.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- Serve hot over pound cake or gingerbread.
