Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) bag green beans
  • 2 shallots
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • steam bag of green beans in microwave for roughly 5 mins.
  • dice shallots.
  • combine beans, olive oil, shallots, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss together by hand or with tongs.
  • spread over a baking pan as evenly as possible and place in oven.
  • check and move beans around with a spatula every 10 mins or so. If they become chard, it is not an issue as this is what you will want.
  • remove from oven after about 30 mins and enjoy!
