Ingredients
- 1 envelope onion soup
- 3/4 c. rice
- 1 fryer chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- pepper to taste
- 1 can water
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/8 c. chopped pimiento
- salt to taste
Method
- Spread dry onion soup mix evenly on bottom of baking dish. Cover with raw rice.
- Arrange chicken pieces over rice.
- Combine soup and water; pour over chicken.
- Scatter mushrooms and pimiento over top.
- Season with pepper and salt.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Serves 6.
