Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- pimentos (optional)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. salad oil
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Combine chopped cabbage, onions and green pepper.
- Add 1 cup sugar and blend well.
- Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and allow to cool.
- Cover and store in refrigerator for at least 1 day before serving.
- Stays fresh and crisp for 9 days.
