Ingredients
- 2 egg whites (room temperature)
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- With electric mixer on high speed, beat egg whites until they stand up with stiff peaks.
- Slowly, gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.
- Add vanilla.
- Stir in nuts and morsels.
- Drop by small spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and place in hot oven.
- Turn off oven. Leave cookies in oven overnight or "forget" about them for at least 8 hours.
