Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites (room temperature)
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • With electric mixer on high speed, beat egg whites until they stand up with stiff peaks.
  • Slowly, gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Stir in nuts and morsels.
  • Drop by small spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and place in hot oven.
  • Turn off oven. Leave cookies in oven overnight or "forget" about them for at least 8 hours.
