- 1/4 c unsalted butter
- 1/4 c chopped green onions
- 1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 pound proscuitto, ham steak, sliced into strips
- 1 1/2 c heavy cream
- 1/2 t ground black pepper
- 12 oz penne pasta, cooked al dente
- 3/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Melt butter, saute onions, mushrooms & ham for 3-5 minutes. Stir in cream & pepper, heat to boiling, lower heat and simmer for 6-8 minutes. Toss pasta w/parmesan cheese add to ham mixture.
