Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. soft butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 qt. berries (quartered, if frozen, drain)
  • 1 c. whipping cream

Method

  • Roll out wafers and line buttered 8-inch square pan with 1/2 of the crumbs.
  • Cream together sugar and butter.
  • Add eggs and beat mixture until fluffy.
  • Spread mixture over crumbs.
  • Add layer of berries.
  • Spread whipping cream over berries and top with remaining crumbs.
  • Chill thoroughly.
