Ingredients
- 1 c. dried mushrooms
- 1 1/2 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 stick butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour (full)
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. mushroom stock
Method
- Rinse dried mushrooms and soak about 5 to 10 minutes in enough water to cover.
- Chop mushrooms and put in 1 quart saucepan.
- Add cold water to cover, about 2 to 3 inches from the top of the mushrooms.
- Cover; bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and add fresh chopped mushrooms.
- Cook about 1 hour until soft.
