Ingredients

  • 3 c. elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. onoin flakes or 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Brown hamburger, add tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper, dry mustard and onion.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add 2 tablespoons grated cheese to meat sauce and stir until melted.
  • Pour cooked macaroni into buttered casserole dish and pour 3/4 of sauce over it.
  • Mix well, then pour other sauce.
  • Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
