- 3 eggs
- 12 cup shortening
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 12 cups coconut
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 12 cup walnuts (chopped)
Method
- Set oven at 350F
- Beat eggs into shortening.
- Then add sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt.
- Add vanilla and chopped nuts.
- Bake in a lightly greased 9x13 pan for 25 minuets.
- Do not over bake.
- Remove from oven.
- Blend condensed milk and coconut and carefully spread on cake layer.
- Bake again for 15 minuets.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on the coconut layer.
- When the chips melt, then spread evenly over the top and add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts.
- Cool and let chocolate topping get firm.
- Cut into squares.
