Ingredients

  • 1 bunch green onion, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 - 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 2 lbs mild sausage
  • 1 lb hot sausage
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can water (use empty broth can)
  • 2 cups uncooked long grain white rice

Method

  • Saute onion, celery, and green pepper in margarine until tender.
  • In separate pan brown sausage drain meat.
  • In large saucepan combine vegetables, sausage, broth, and water and rice.
  • Simmer 30-40 minutes until rice is done.
