Ingredients
- 1 large red apple
- 2 c. raw cranberries
- 2 oranges
- 2 pkg. gelatin
- 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
Method
- Put cranberries and apple (plus skin, minus core) in a blender. Add sugar.
- Let stand while preparing remainder of ingredients. Put gelatin in 1/2 cup water and set over boiling water to dissolve.
- Drain juice from pulp of orange and pineapple.
- Measure juice and add enough water to make 1 cup.
- Pour into gelatin mix. Add fruit and nuts.
- Pour into an 8 x 10-inch cake pan or mold. Refrigerate until firm.
- Freezes well.
- Serve with turkey or ham.
