Ingredients

  • 1 large red apple
  • 2 c. raw cranberries
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 pkg. gelatin
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple

Method

  • Put cranberries and apple (plus skin, minus core) in a blender. Add sugar.
  • Let stand while preparing remainder of ingredients. Put gelatin in 1/2 cup water and set over boiling water to dissolve.
  • Drain juice from pulp of orange and pineapple.
  • Measure juice and add enough water to make 1 cup.
  • Pour into gelatin mix. Add fruit and nuts.
  • Pour into an 8 x 10-inch cake pan or mold. Refrigerate until firm.
  • Freezes well.
  • Serve with turkey or ham.
