Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Method

  • Cream softened butter and confectioners sugar together in a bowl.
  • Add vanilla and water; stir.
  • Gradually mix in flour and pecans; stir together until completely blended.
  • Roll dough into small individual balls and flatten slightly.
  • Put in a greased cookie pan and bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes, until slightly brown.
  • Then roll in powdered sugar when cool enough to handle.
