Ingredients
- 2 c. cornmeal
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. milk
Method
- Scald cornmeal with boiling water.
- Add remaining ingredients in order and mix well.
- Bake at 350° for 90 minutes.
- Cool before cutting.
- This is a very moist cornbread.
