Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 qt. milk
- 5 c. whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- about 10 lb. crushed or cracked ice
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. rock salt
Method
- Beat eggs with sugar until thick.
- Pour into chilled 1 gallon ice cream cannister.
- Mix in milk, cream, vanilla and salt. Insert dasher and assemble ice cream freezer.
