Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sliced green onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. shelled peas
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. savory
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Saute the green onions in the butter in a saucepan for 5 minutes, or until they are tender, but not browned.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 25 minutes, or until peas are tender.
- Serves 4.
