Ingredients
- 14 slice Thinly sliced pork
- 300 grams Firm tofu
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 80 ml Water
- 1 tsp Dashi stock granules
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
Method
- After draining the tofu slice into 12~14 baton shaped pieces.
- Wrap the tofu tightly with the sliced pork.
- Heat the sesame oil in the frying pan and place the pork wrapped tofu in sealed edge down.
- Fry both sides.
- Pour in the ingredients and cover with a lid to simmer.
- As it simmers check the water content of the sauce and turn the wrapped tofu.
- When the sauce is reduced and thickened, transfer to a serving plate.
- Serve.
