Ingredients

  • 14 slice Thinly sliced pork
  • 300 grams Firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 80 ml Water
  • 1 tsp Dashi stock granules
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce

Method

  • After draining the tofu slice into 12~14 baton shaped pieces.
  • Wrap the tofu tightly with the sliced pork.
  • Heat the sesame oil in the frying pan and place the pork wrapped tofu in sealed edge down.
  • Fry both sides.
  • Pour in the ingredients and cover with a lid to simmer.
  • As it simmers check the water content of the sauce and turn the wrapped tofu.
  • When the sauce is reduced and thickened, transfer to a serving plate.
  • Serve.
