Ingredients
- 1 c. grits
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) roll nippy cheese or sharp cheese
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- milk
Method
- Cook grits in boiling water and salt until done.
- Grate cheese and add to grits along with butter.
- In a measuring cup, break eggs (lightly beaten) and fill with milk to reach 1 cup level. Combine with grits and mix well. Put in baking dish and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Great with ham, sausage or bacon.
