Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized elephant
  • 500 lb. potatoes
  • 50 bushels carrots
  • 50 stalks celery
  • 1 rabbit

Method

  • Cut elephant into 1-inch cubes and cook in a very large pot. Stew two days and add potatoes, carrots and celery.
  • Add salt to taste (about 50 pound bag).
  • Serves approximately 3,000 guests.
  • If more people show, add rabbit as needed.
  • Do not put rabbit in unless needed, as no one likes to find a hare in their stew.
