Ingredients

  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
  • 1 tsp. orange extract
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Foil line an 8-inch pan.
  • Spread 1/2 cup walnuts evenly; set aside.
  • In heavy pan, combine marshmallow, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt.
  • Bring to full boil, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add butterscotch morsels; stir until morsels melt. Stir in orange and orange rind.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
  • Chill until firm (about 2 hours).
