Ingredients

  • 1/2 large butternut squash
  • 1 pouch maple brown sugar instant oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp or to taste pumpkin pie spice..I used a hint more I like a lot
  • 1/3 or more cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 You can add some agave if it's not sweet enough I added added a bit and tasted it until I thought it was sweet enough

Method

  • Cut a large butter nut squash in half length wise..dig out seeds and mush
  • Use a veggie peeler to remove skin and cut squash in 1 inch pieces
  • Boil pieces for about 30 minutes or until squash is fork tender like if you were making some mashed potatoes
  • Drain squash and add everything in and mash it up..
  • Serve hot or chilled both are awesome
