Ingredients
- 1 head broccoli, cut into small pieces with stem out
- 4 oz. mild Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 to 1 c. milk
- 1/2 stick margarine
- salt and pepper
- sunflower seeds
Method
- Steam broccoli until tender.
- In a separate saucepan, put margarine, shredded cheese and 1/2 cup milk.
- Stir with fork constantly until smooth.
- Add more milk if you desire a thinner sauce.
- Pour cheese sauce over broccoli.
- Sprinkle with sunflower seeds, salt and pepper to taste.
