Ingredients
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 qt. milk
- 1/3 c. cream or evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Method
- Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside. Heat 1 cup milk until bubbly; do not boil. Gradually whisk in the cocoa mixture until smooth. Gradually stir in remaining milk.
- Remove from heat; whisk in cream and vanilla. Yields 5 cups.
