Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef (lean)
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (6 or 8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
  • 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles

Method

  • Brown meat slowly; spoon off fat.
  • Add next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender.
  • Drain and rinse.
