- 1 lb. ground beef (lean)
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (6 or 8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
Method
- Brown meat slowly; spoon off fat.
- Add next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Salt to taste.
- Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender.
- Drain and rinse.
