Ingredients
- 1 pkg. cake mix
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. coconut
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Method
- Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
- Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Cool 15 minutes.
- Poke holes in cake with a fork.
- Combine milk, sugar and 1/2 cup coconut in pan.
- Boil and then simmer 1 minute.
- Spoon over cake.
- Let soak down in holes.
- Cool completely.
