Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. milk chocolate candy, chopped (I use 3 Hershey's)

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Beat oleo, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  • Add combined dry ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Stir in chocolate.
  • Drop rounded tablespoonfuls dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Let stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
  • Makes 4 dozen.
