Ingredients
- 2 doz. steam clams
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 small jar pimento
- 1 small onion
- 1 small green pepper
- lemon juice
- Tabasco sauce
Method
- Steam clams.
- Remove clams from shell, then put in 1/2 of shell loose.
- Brown bacon; drain and crumble when cool.
- Chop pimento, onion and green pepper.
- Add bacon to this.
- Put 1 drop of lemon juice and 1 drop of Tabasco sauce on each clam.
- Top each clam with bacon/vegetable mixture.
- Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Serve with lemon wedges.
