Ingredients
- 2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine dry ingredients in tall saucepan.
- Stir in milk and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until a soft ball stage.
- This is when a small amount dropped into a cup of cold water forms a ball.
- Set aside.
- Combine butter and vanilla.
- Beat until thick.
- Quickly add before it sets.
- Cool to room temperature.
