Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. won ton skins (around 50 per pkg.)
  • 8 oz. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 small can diced green chilies
  • 4 green onions, diced
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese

Method

  • Mix all of the ingredients except won ton skins together and blend well.
  • Fill won ton skins with 1/2 teaspoon of mixture. (Place mixture in center of skin, moisten edges and seal.)
  • Filled skins are then dropped into 6 inches of oil that has been heated for deep frying.
  • They take around 30 to 45 seconds in oil to become crispy and golden.
  • Remove with slotted spoon to paper towels and cool.
  • To freeze, place on foil-lined cookie sheet and freeze until hard.
  • Store in box or plastic bag.
  • Preheat oven to 325° and reheat until hot.
