Ingredients
- 1 Squid
- 1 Tomato
- 1 to 3 teaspoons Garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 tsp Olive oil
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 Basil or parsley (optional, as a garnish)
Method
- Divide the body and the tentacles of the squid.
- Take out the gut and bone.
- Cut the pointy tips off the legs.
- Drain well, and cut the body into 5-6 mm slices.
- Dice the tomato to 1 cm, skin and all.
- Finely chop the garlic.
- You could use tubed garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- Saute the squid.
- When it turns white, add garlic, and stir until fragrant.
- Add the tomato.
- When the tomato starts to lose its shape, add soy sauce.
- Cook while evaporating the liquid in the pan.
- Add butter, mix together, and it's done.
