Ingredients
- 8 oz. pkg. vermicelli
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 3/4 c. half and half
- 1 to 3 Tbsp. sherry or wine (if desired)
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- dash of pepper
- 3 c. cubed, cooked chicken
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Cook vermicelli as directed on package. Set aside.
