Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken drumsticks
  • 5 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 3 Tbsp. Goya sofrito (Spanish section of supermarket)
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped (in produce section)
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 lb. cooked spaghetti

Method

  • In heavy 4-quart pot, saute garlic in oil for 3 minutes.
  • Add drumsticks.
  • Simmer until brown, turning frequently.
  • After 10 minutes, add tomato paste, sofrito, cilantro and water.
  • Bring to a boil; cover tightly and cook on low for 40 minutes.
  • Add cooked spaghetti, mix and serve.
