Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Kraft caramels (about 28)
- dash of salt
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. milk
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
- pie crust
Method
- Melt caramels in milk in double boiler, stirring constantly. Add salt to gelatin and soften in cold water.
- Add to caramels. Stir to dissolve.
- Chill until quite thick.
- Fold in whipped cream and nuts.
- Pour into a prepared pie crust of your choice. Refrigerate until firm.
