Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 7 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 3 c. cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen vegetables
  • 1 pkg. refrigerator biscuits

Method

  • In pan, melt butter.
  • Add onion and cook until tender.
  • Stir in flour, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper.
  • Add broth and stir to mix well.
  • Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
  • Stir in chicken, vegetables and pimento.
  • Heat until once again bubbly. Place biscuits on top of hot chicken mixture and bake at 450° for 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are light brown.
