Ingredients
- 1 lb. cooked chicken, minced
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. butter
- 2 tsp. flour
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. chilies, chopped
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Method
- Mix chicken and half of bread crumbs; set aside.
- Melt butter on low.
- Stir in 1/2 flour; cook slow.
- Stir in milk, stirring slowly until you have a thick white sauce, about 1 1/2 minutes. Mix chicken and 1/2 of bread crumbs to white sauce.
- Add chilies, green onion and garlic powder.
- Make balls.
- Roll in egg, then in bread crumbs.
- Fry in deep fryer at 350° until brown.
