Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. angel hair pasta, cooked
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. softened butter
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon drippings

Method

  • Prepare pasta and keep in strainer.
  • In large saucepan, fry bacon; drain on paper towels.
  • In small saucepan, slowly warm whipping cream, red pepper and 1 tablespoon bacon drippings.
  • Beat eggs and add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
  • In large bowl, toss pasta, egg mixture, softened butter and cream mixture.
  • Keep on very low heat.
  • Crumble bacon and toss in.
  • Add remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Serve immediately.
