Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 3 medium potatoes
Method
- Cook onions in oil until soft; add all other ingredients except potatoes and completely cover with water.
- Cook until meat is brown.
- After potatoes are cooked, mash them slightly (should be in small pieces).
- Add potatoes to meat mixture and skim most of liquid.
- Put in crust and bake until crust is golden brown.
- To make 2 pies, bake at 300° for 1 hour.
