Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. tabasco
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 1/2 - 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. anchovy paste
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • homemade croutons
  • shredded parmesan cheese

Method

  • Mix all of dressing ingredients except parmesan cheese well. Add cheese and mix again. Coat lettuce and croutons with dressing and add about 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese. For Croutons: cube about a half loaf of any kind of bread.
  • Heat olive oil, black pepper, garlic salt and fresh garlic.
  • Toss the bread cubes and turn constantly to coat and cook.
  • Be careful not to burn them. The croutons will need to sit out for awhile to become crisp.
