Ingredients
- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 well beaten eggs
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 c. sifted plain flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. yellow raisins
- 4 c. pecans
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add well beaten eggs and lemon juice; blend.
- Sift dry ingredients together and combine with raisins and pecans.
- Add to creamed mixture and blend thoroughly.
- Pour in a well-greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake at 275° for 1 1/2 hours.
