Ingredients
- 12 slices white bread, cubed
- 2 c. sharp cheese, grated
- 1 lb. hot sausage, fried and drained
- 1 lb. bacon, crisp
- 8 large eggs
- 1 qt. milk
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- Worcestershire sauce to taste
Method
- Butter an 11 x 14-inch pan.
- Put half the bread cubes in bottom.
- Add half the cheese, then sausage mixed with crumbled bacon.
- Add remaining bread and cheese.
- Beat eggs; add milk, salt, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour over other ingredients. Refrigerate 24 hours.
- Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until brown and done.
- Serves 12.
