Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 lb. oleo
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
Method
- Stir sugar, milk, oleo and cocoa into a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Continue boiling for 1 1/2 minutes.
- After mixture has reached a full rolling boil, remove from heat.
- Blend together the oatmeal, chopped nuts, vanilla and peanut butter with first mixture.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
- Makes about 30 cookies.
