Ingredients
- 4 c. marshmallows
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. nuts
Method
- Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan.
- Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
- Boil 5 minutes.
- Stir constantly.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate chips.
- Stir until melted.
- Add nuts and vanilla.
- Do not beat. Pour into greased pan.
- Chill; cut into squares.
- For thick squares, put in a 9 x 7-inch pan, thin squares in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
