Ingredients

  • 12 sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 pound sweet italian sausage links, cut into
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup Wish-Bone Italian Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons dri in oil pack sun tomato chopped drained
  • 3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Remove and finely chop mushroom stems to equal 1 cup; set aside.
  • Brown sausage over medium-high heat in 12-inch nonstick skillet, stirring frequently. Stir in chopped mushroom stems and shallot and cook, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in Wish-Bone(R) Italian Dressing, tomatoes and bread crumbs. Evenly spoon mixture into mushroom caps.
  • Arrange mushroom caps on baking sheet. Bake 25 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
