Ingredients

  • 1 pound 80/20 Ground Beef
  • 1 bottle Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 cans Refrigerated Biscuits (Grands)
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Method

  • 1.
  • Preheat the oven according to the biscuit instructions.
  • 2.
  • Brown beef in a skillet.
  • 3.
  • Add 1/2 the bottle of barbecue sauce to the beef.
  • Add the remaining sauce until meat is coated but not soupy.
  • 4.
  • Add the brown sugar and stir until smooth.
  • 5.
  • Grease muffin tins.
  • 6.
  • Stretch the biscuits until they are big enough to make a cup in the muffin tin.
  • Press into the tins.
  • 7.
  • Fill each cup with about a 1/4 cup of the beef mixture.
  • 8.
  • Top with cheese
  • 9.
  • Bake according to the instructions on the biscuit can.
  • 10.
  • Serve 2-3 cups per person with potato salad or coleslaw.
