Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 14 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix well.
- Stir in flour and fold in the chopped almonds.
- You may need an additional 1/2 cup of flour to get a good consistency.
- Shape in small balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven about 20 minutes, until slightly browned.
- Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
- Or, for less mess, shake in a ziplock with powdered sugar while warm.
