Ingredients

  • 1 large fryer
  • 6 to 8 slices bacon
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 bag long spaghetti
  • 8 slices American cheese, grated
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 can LeSueur peas, drained

Method

  • Boil and debone chicken; cook bacon until crisp.
  • Add onion and pepper; cook until tender.
  • Cook and drain spaghetti.
  • Mix spaghetti, chicken, onion and pepper mixture with remaining ingredients.
  • Put into very hot oven, about 450°, and let heat until entire mixture is bubbly.
  • More sour or chicken broth may be added if mixture is too dry.
