Ingredients
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- buttermilk
- 1/2 c. Crisco
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Mix sugar and Crisco like you were making biscuits.
- Add flour.
- Add yeast water and buttermilk. Mix well and roll.
- Let sit for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 450° until brown.
