Ingredients
- 8 Tbsp. butter (1 stick)
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 - 1/3 c. sugar (depending on how sweet you like your scones)
- 1 Tbsp. baking power
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Soften butter and mix with all ingredients in a mixer. Mix completely; dough will be dry.
- Place balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-12 min.
- Scones are done when the very tips are brown.
